Example

Convert degrees minutes seconds to decimal degrees:


1. Take the decimals (digits after the point)
2. Divide them by 60
3. The full number (before the point) are the minutes
4. The rest (decimals, after the point) should be divided again by 60
5. These are the seconds

4. Divide by 60

Convert m to feet:


Multiply m with 3.28084

Multiply feet with 0.30480

Multiply ha with 10,000

Divide m by 10,000
