A6.6.14 Others:

  • Regions and Districts have defined names and numeric codes (listed in Annex 9.9).

  • (district)_contours with 50 feet (!) contour lines (only lines). Currently, no styles are defined. E.g. Ejisu_contours. Similarly, (district) _contours100 with 100 feet contour lines.

  • (district)_popdensity with relative population density zones, with classes from 1: relatively very high - 2: high - 3: medium - 4: low. e.g. Axim_popdensity.

  • (district)_district (e.g. Ejisu_district) only defines the area coverage. There is only style 1.

  • (district)_growthzone (e.g. Western_growthzone) in the SDF folder define the annual growth rate of all settlement per zone. Styles can be 1,2,3..., but strict syntax is required for the display labels in the form of a-b-c-d (where a is growth rate of grade 1 towns, b of grade 2, c of grade 3, d of all smaller settlements, e.g. 4.6-5.3-4.1-3.7).

Technical note: Keep the regional file 'xxx_district.dra' as the master file, where all data are entered to and from where the data are then copied to the national file 'Ghana_district.dra'. (In the national district file delete all the districts of the region, then copy from the regional master file, and paste to the national file).

  • (district)_region (e.g. Ejisu_region) only defines the area coverage. There is only style 1.

  • (district)_SDFarea (e.g. Ejisu_SDFarea) only defines the area coverage. There is only style 1.

  • (district)_SLoverview with the area of all Sector Layouts (only style 1, only polygons, e.g. Ejisu_SLoverview).

In this Annex 6, all established classes are listed. There are some maps, which don't require a classification (e.g. only style/class 1). For any additional, non-standard maps with a specific classification, these classes should be
documented in a TXT file in the same directory as the main DRA file.

Technical note for other master data:
- Keep the
regional census data as the master database, where all data are entered to and from where the district database will be derived.
- For
permit data there is only one database, which is at the district level (There is no 'regional permit database').
