Annex 6: Classification for Land Use Mapping and Planning

Level of expertise required for this Chapter: Advanced; specifically for LUPMIS @ TCPD

Classification schemes are to be standardized, formalized and not to be changed for standard TCPD planning maps. These definitions are stored in style libraries in Map Maker (see step 4 of Annex 1.1.1 for the procedure to load style sets). See technical remarks in Annex 6.7, if you really have to change the classification.

Only for specific, individual maps, the styles should be changed or modified!

In this Annex 6, all established classes are listed. There are some maps, which don't require a classification (e.g. only style/class 1). For any additional, non-standard maps with a specific classification, these classes should be documented in a TXT file in the same directory as the main DRA file.
