8.1.3.4 Internet Map Browsers

Beside presentation of maps in GIS (as described in the previous chapters), powerful tools to display maps are now available in the Internet. There is a wide range available, but the most common are Google (with Google Maps and Google Earth) and OpenStreetMaps.

Obviously, in this area (Kasoa) Google Maps has more background information than OpenStreetMaps.
