6.1 Labels

6.1.1 Location of Labels
Default location of polygon labels is in the centre of the polygon. Occasionally, this can be confusing or not easy to read.
There is a manual and an automatic way to change the location of the label.
6.1.1.1 Manual
In live layer mode: Select the Edit-tool (at toolbar left, or right-click > Edit) > Double-click inside the polygon:
The label insertion point will appear:
Drag it to the new location inside the polygon, and release the button:
This new location of the label can now be saved.
6.1.1.2 Automatic for Entire Live Layer
In live layer mode: Right-mouse > Live layer actions > Live layer actions window: Basic operations > Ensure polygon labels are inside > OK
6.1.1.3 Automatic for Selected Polygons in the Live Layer
In live layer mode: Select the Select-tool (at toolbar left) > Select the polygon(s) to be processed > Main menu > Edit > Show Selection Manager > Selection Manager window: Actions > Basic operations > Ensure polygon labels are inside
