4.4 Enter Attribute Data

There are various methods to enter attribute data to the attached database (
DBF file).

- If only one feature is to be edited, e.g. one line: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

- If attribute data of more than one feature (many polygons or lines or points) are to be entered, it is faster to enter through the Select option:
Main menu > Edit > Show Selection Manager > Select-tool (at toolbar left) > Select the features by dragging the mouse or by clicking the individual feature, holding the shift button on the keyboard > Selection Manager window: Under Selection there should be a listing of the selected features > Data > Table > Click on column to be edited > Column > Set all rows to > Enter the value in the field next to ‘Set all to’ > Set all to > Check at ‘Table’ > Close window
